CBLDF- The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund
The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund was founded in 1986 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of First Amendment rights for members of the comics community. Comics are a form of literature. Stand up for your rights. Support the CBLDF!

Friends of Lulu

The Hero Foundry
The Hero Foundry is a Non Profit Organization that is dedicated to inspiring the youth of today to become the heroes of tomorrow. Their goal is to provide comic books, graphic novels and similar literature to children through libraries, schools, hospitals, and other organizations that lack the financial resources to supply these materials. Why comics? To increase literacy, inspire creativity, and most importantly, to provide positive role models and moral guidance to today’s youth

The Hero Initiative
The Hero Initiative exists because many Golden Age or Silver Age creators toiled in comics' earlier days for low pay and with a nonexistent pension plan. Very often, writers would work for a penny a word, or artists for $5 a page with no chance of ownership and no pension. Today, many of these people who laid the groundwork that today's comic industry works on may be in financial need. The Hero Initiative is dedicated to helping yesterdays creators with emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and entree back into paying work.

Heroes 4 Heroes
Heroes For Heroes works directly with members of the United States Military and the general public to provide portable media to active troops. Our primary goal is to amplify troop morale by keeping our men and women in uniform culturally tuned-in. We gather, organize, and send entertainment material such as comic books, DVDs, CDs, books, magazines, MP3 players, and game systems.
